New Poem-That Old Jellyfish

That Old Jellyfish
By: Blog admin

A jelly fish lives in my brain.

Sometimes, it flays its tentacles,
shooting electric pulses through my neurons,
which blaze and glow with pain.

Other times, it dangles its glowing appendages
before my eyes, causing a haze of green and
grey to dance in my vision.

Yet other times, it glowers in anger
and sinks its fangs
 into my brain,
chuckling with glee.

On rare occasions, the jellyfish
dozes from its perch on top of my brain,
the stillness of its sleep disturbed
only by the occasional twitches of his tentacles

as he dreams of the day to come.
